About Me

My name is Keira A. Smith, and I am a senior who is looking to go to North Carolina State University to pursue general engineering with an interest in nuclear. Despite my thesis not being remotely centered around what I plan to do for college, I found it to be a wonderful opportunity to dive into differing topics I was interested and curious in. It was difficult to read some of these stories at times and some topics were more nuanced than they first appeared, but I enjoyed myself throughout, even with the added difficulty of not only writing a script but recording and editing all of it. I am glad I chose my thesis topic because more people need to talk about it, and I was happy to be one of the few discussing it at this moment in time.
